Overview
BatterUp is a local-first baseball and softball coaching app from STAT Central for adult coaches, parents, and authorized team managers. This policy explains how BatterUp handles information in the app and when you contact support.
Information stored on your device
Team and game information you enter, such as player names, jersey numbers, lineups, positions, schedules, game history, statistics, notes, and optional team images, is stored locally on your device. BatterUp does not require an app-owned account and does not operate a cloud database for this coaching data.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
BatterUp does not include third-party advertising, developer-operated behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking. The app does not sell personal information.
Device permissions and sharing
Camera access is used only when you choose a feature that needs the camera, such as scanning a shared lineup QR code. Photo-library access is used only when you choose a team image. When you export, save, or share a file or report, the destination is selected through your device. STAT Central does not control or receive data sent to third-party destinations you choose.
Subscriptions and payments
Optional BatterUp subscriptions are purchased, billed, renewed, canceled, restored, and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. STAT Central does not collect or store your payment-card details. Apple or Google may process purchase, account, and transaction information under their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Local app information remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app data, uninstall the app, or replace it from a backup. Because BatterUp is local-first, STAT Central generally cannot recover coaching data that has been deleted from your device.
Support communications
If you contact support, you may choose to provide your name, email address, device/app details, and information about your request. We use that information to respond and support the app. Do not send player records, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information unless specifically necessary.
Children's information
BatterUp is designed for use by adult coaches, parents, and authorized team managers, not for children to create accounts or use as a social service. Adults are responsible for entering and sharing only team or player information they are authorized to manage.
