The Field Guide organizes beginner-oriented information around covered situations. Start with a guided path, search by the problem you can see, review safety basics, or return to a guide you saved.
Guide pages put the summary first and let you expand starting considerations, material notes, field steps, common mistakes, warnings, walk-away checks, and related guidance. No guide guarantees a result or covers every condition.
Choose a useful way in
- Guide me: answer a few covered questions so closely related starting guides appear first.
- Search: use field language such as a visible problem, material, or equipment question.
- Quick starts: open common covered categories without working through a questionnaire.
- Saved guides: keep useful reference pages available for a later check.
Keep useful job context on the device
Saved mixes can retain a name, tags, surface or visible problem, equipment context, target percentage, batch size, notes, and whether you would use the mix again. The records stay local to the device and are not synced to a Batch Mix account.
That privacy-friendly design also means Stat Central cannot recover a deleted record. Export available information before clearing app data or uninstalling when an export option is available.

Downstream estimation
Estimate applied SH from source strength and an injector ratio, then bucket-test the actual equipment. The result stays separate from tank batch mixing.
Recipe Builder
Plan component volumes for one batch. Recipe Builder does not prove compatibility, select safe components, or authorize mixing them.
Surfactant Helper
Include additive displacement in the intended final volume. A limited number of uses are included free; Pro provides continued access after that allowance.
What Pro unlocks
Batch Mix Pro includes Advanced Mode, downstream planning, Recipe Builder, the Field Guide, and continued Surfactant Helper access. Monthly and annual plans are managed entirely by Apple or Google. Your store shows the current localized price and any eligible introductory offer before purchase.
No surprise paywall: Pro adds depth. It does not remove the Basic Calculator, gallons/liters, saved mixes, or the included Surfactant Helper allowance from free users.
